First wind power plant in Georgia - Kartli has been officially opened on 6th of October by Georgian Prime-Minister Mr. George Kvirikashvili and Minister of Energy Mr. Ilia Eloshvili. Oficial opening ceremony was attended by other government officials and guests.

20.8Mw wind power plant has been constructed using high-tech Vestas V117 turbines with a capacity of 3.45MW each.
